Simon Boswell
Simon Boswell ( born 1956 in London, England ) is a British film composer.
Career
His career in film began in 1984 with the work as a composer in the horror film director Dario Argento Phenomena of. Even his second film Demons of 1986 was an Italian horror film production, this time led by Lamberto Bava Director, with whom he worked a few more times. Until the 1990s, he was invariably involved in Italian films, his first English-language film was Mortal Sins from the year 1992. Well followed mainly British and American productions, including some television productions.
In 1991 he was nominated for the first time for a film Price: For the film Santa Sangre Boswell was nominated for a Saturn Award. Seven years later he was nominated for the Goya for Best Original Score category for his work on Perdita Durango.
Simon Boswell has been married since 1985.
In 2009 he participated in the Pope's CD " Alma Mater".
