The star ball - leek (Allium cristophii, Syn. Allium Christophii Trautv orth var, Allium albopilosum CHWright ), also called garden ball leek, belongs to the sub-section Christophiana Tscholokashvili from the section Kaloprason C.Koch. in the subgenus Melanocrommyum within the genus Allium (Allium ) of the subfamily of leek plants ( Allioideae ). It is an ornamental allium. This species is distributed from Asia Minor to central Asia.

Description

The star ball - leek is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches the average plant height of 50 cm.
