Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein

Hereditary Prince Alois Philipp Maria von und zu Liechtenstein, Count of Rietberg ( born June 11, 1968 in Zurich ) is the Prince Regent of the Principality of Liechtenstein and heir. The official titulary of the Prince is His Serene Highness ( S.D. ) Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.

Life

Hereditary Prince Alois is the eldest son of Prince Hans Adam II ( born 1945 ) and Princess Marie. He grew up in Vaduz Castle. Like his father, he attended the primary school in Vaduz and graduated high school with the Matura. He then trained as an officer at the Military Academy Sandhurst, UK. After being certified to the Second Lieutenant, he made half a year service with the Coldstream Guards in Hong Kong and London. He then studied law at the University of Salzburg, and graduated in 1993 with a master's diploma. From September 1993 to May 1996, he worked at an accounting firm in London.

After he returned in 1996 to Vaduz, Hereditary Prince Alois managed the princely private fortune. On 16 August 2004, he took over as Deputy amtsausführender sovereigns the government.

Family

On July 3, 1993, he married in the Catholic Cathedral and Parish Church of St. Florin to Vaduz born in 1967 Sophie Duchess in Bavaria ( by protocol Princess of Bavaria, Duchess in Bavaria), daughter of Max Emanuel Duke in Bavaria and niece of the current Wittelsbach family head Franz Duke of Bavaria.

The marriage produced four children:

Title, Title and Coat of Arms

The full title of the Prince of Liechtenstein under the House bill is Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Count of Rietberg.

All members of the Princely House of Liechtenstein have the address Highness and run the arms of the Princely Family.

His wife was different from the House bill, the honorific Her Royal Highness ( HRH writing ) because it comes from the formerly ruling royal house of Wittelsbach ( king of Bavaria, from 1806 to 1918 ) and is therefore of protocol in a higher rank.
