Aloxe-Corton

Aloxe -Corton (pronounced Alloss -Corton ) is a commune in the Côte-d'Or department of the Burgundy region. The municipality has 157 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011), located at an altitude of 248 meters above sea level and has an area of ​​263 hectares.

Aloxe- Corton is located north of Beaune and is bordered to the south by Chorey- les -Beaune and Savigny- lès -Beaune and northeast of Ladoix -Serrigny. Aloxe -Corton is part of the Côte de Beaune. The inhabitants are called Aloxois. In 1862 the municipality of Aloxe added to the name of the Topweinlage Corton to the community name.
