Alpu is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Eskişehir. The city is located about 35 kilometers east of the provincial capital of Eskişehir.

The district is located in the northern center of the province. It is bordered on the east by Mihalıççık and Beylikova, to the south Mahmudiye, on the west by Odunpazarı and Tepebaşı, on the northwest by Sarıcakaya and to the north by the province of Ankara. By Alpu performs a connecting road from Eskişehir and Mahmudiye after Mihalıççık. The town lies in the valley of the river Porsuk Çayı, north of it is a part of the mountain Sündiken Dağları. The northern boundary of the district of the province of Ankara formed by the River Sakarya, of the reservoir Gökçekaya Baraji (also Yenice Baraji ) is there dammed. In the southeast of the circle lies with the Yayıklı Göleti another smaller dam.

By Alpu the route of the Anatolian Railway from Istanbul Haydarpaşa leads to Ankara.
