Amaël Moinard

Amaël Moinard ( born February 2, 1982 in Cherbourg ) is a French cyclist.

Amaël Moinard began his professional career in 2004 as a stagiaire at the French ProTour team Cofidis and received the following year there is also a professional contract. In his first year he won a stage in the small race Bidasoa Itzulia. In 2006 he took part in the Giro d' Italia. He showed up on the sixth stage in a breakaway group and sat in the mountain classification by points accumulated at the top. However, the same number of points with him Moises Aldape was allowed to roam the Maglia Verde, as he was better placed in the overall standings. After Moinard at the opening stage of the Tour de l' Avenir was third, he managed in the overall standings at the end of the eighth.
