Amanda Jenssen

Jenny Amanda Katarina Jenssen ( born Bengtsson, born September 12, 1988 in Lund ) is a Swedish singer who became famous in the Swedish version of the talent show " Idol".

Biography

In the finale of the show on 7 December 2007, she was defeated with 48.7 % of the vote Marie Picasso. And yet, Amanda signed 3 January 2008 a record deal, their first single " Do You Love Me " was released on 23 January 2008. Their second single " Amarula Tree" (written by her and Pär Wiksten ) was published on 16 April 2008. Their debut album " Killing My Darlings " was released on May 7, 2008 - a tour for the summer has been announced.

Some of the songs on the album were written by Marit Bergman and Vincent Pontare, but the rest of her own Amanda wrote their songs without having to go in a certain direction or pursue a particular genre. Their musical influences are Elvis Presley and her own father. In addition to pursuing their own solo career, she was a singer of the band " Oh Never Hollie Days", with the cover band " Amanda and the Papas " they played classics. Amanda also worked with musicians such as Daniel Miller of the band "Wild Bleeding Heart" and Elina Nelson, another former participant in the Swedish Idol show.

She first appeared in Germany had Jenssen in the soap opera Good Times, Bad Times, where she appeared in the fictitious Club masonry alongside other artists such as Unholy or Nena.
