Emperor Ling (Amanita Caesarea )

The Wulstlingsverwandten ( Amanitaceae ) are a fungus family from the order of mushroom relatives ( Agaricales ). The position of the family is shown differently in the literature. Some authors provide some or all genera of this family to the roof mushroom relatives ( Pluteaceae ).

Features

The fruiting bodies of fungi Wulstlingsverwandten are leaves or tubers, or be formed club-shaped. The hymenophore is formed as lamellae or chambered gleba. The agaric -like forms have a universal veil, sometimes partiale a velum. The universal veil can be used as volva or as flakes or scales remain or become congested on the hat skin. The spore powder is white to greenish, the spores are round, oval or elliptical, usually smooth or feinwarzig, amyloid or inamyloid.

Ecology

In the family Saprobionten, parasites and ectomycorrhizal formers occur.
