Amazing Red
Amazing Red (2010)
Jonathan Figueroa ( born April 26, 1982 in Cayey, Puerto Rico ), better known by his ring names Amazing Red, is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler. His biggest success was the three-time TNA X Division Championship receipt of the simple and the receipt of the ROH World Tag Team Championship with AJ Styles.

Career
Beginnings / Independent
His beginnings in wrestling made Figueroa at Impact Championship Wrestling ( ICW short ) on 26 January 2001 as Red For Combat Zone Wrestling on April 7, 2001, he performed the first time as Amazing Red. On April 12, 2001 Figueroa was allowed his first title, the PWF Junior Heavyweight title, win Premier Wrestling Federation. Together with his two cousins Joel and Jose Maximo, he formed the Stable The Spanish Announce Team (short The SAT or SAT). In ICW Figueroa met several times on the former WWE Superstar Kaval.
On 27 March 2002 Figueroa was allowed to claim his second title, the MCW Cruiserweight title of Maryland Championship Wrestling. In 2002, Figueroa feuded short against his two cousins.
NWA Total Nonstop Action Wrestling / Ring of Honor
On 24 July 2002 Figueroa made her first appearance in NWA Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Figueroa came regularly from now on up there. In NWA / TNA he was repeatedly compete for the NWA / TNA X - Title, allowed him win, however. He also appeared next to the independent wrestling scene.
On 15 March 2003 Figueroa was able to win with AJ Styles at Ring of Honor ROH Tag Team Title. In NWA TNA Figueroa could win with Jerry Lynn on April 16, 2003 NWA World Tag Team title.
Japan / Independent
In February and summer of 2003, Figueroa performed as a Spriggan at All Japan Pro Wrestling. He injured his knee and was sidelined for eight months. During this break Figueroa erröfnete along with his two cousins a wrestling school.
On 13 March 2004 Figueroa returned in Ring of Honor. After his return Figueroa feuded with NWA / TNA briefly against Sonjay Dutt, who had moved from Combat Zone Wrestling TNA. In TNA, they had now officially left the National Wrestling Alliance, Figueroa made up from July to September 2004 a tag team with Chris Sabin.
After TNA did not renew his contract Figueroa joined again in 2005 at Independent leagues (mainly in New York Wrestling Connection). In June 2005, Figueroa met twice on TNA and once in November 2005. In New York Wrestling Connection ( NYWC short ) he was allowed to win the NYWC Interstate title on 27 August 2005.
Career break
On January 28, 2006, Figueroa injured at NYWC against Javi - Air again on his knees and took a break. He returned to wrestling to his back and was looking for a regular job in order to recover from the knee surgery.
Return / TNA
Actually Figueroa wanted to celebrate in March 2008 PWU Haunted his comeback, but he canceled since the birth of his child was imminent. In November 2008, he celebrated his return at Jersey All Pro Wrestling.
On 22 April 2009 Figueroa returned to TNA and now appeared regularly in TNA on. Briefly, he formed a tag team with Suicide. Figueroa called Suicide shortly thereafter as part of the new storyline to the TNA X Division title out, but he was not allowed to win. October 5, 2009 Figueroa won this title from Samoa Joe.
On September 23, 2010 Figueroa was allowed to win the X Division title a second time by Jay Lethal at a house show. The title, he joined a few days later again to Jay Lethal.
After sporadic appearances, inter alia, also as a masked Sangriento, Figueroa was on August 4, 2011 that he and TNA go their separate ways.
