Amir Spahić

Spahić (2008)

Amir Spahić (* September 13, 1983 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian footballer.

Career

Spahić began in the youth department of Austria Vienna before he moved to the reserve team Arminia Bielefeld. For the season 2004 /05 he spent one season to Austria to SC Eisenstadt. After that year, he moved back to his home and played only half a year for FK Sloboda Tuzla and then one and a half years for FK Željezničar Sarajevo. In December 2007 Spahić joined the Russian second division side Torpedo Moscow.

For the 2009/10 season, he joined the Polish Ekstraklasa to Slask Wroclaw, where he signed a contract until 2011 and later extended it to 2014.
