Rethera amseli is a butterfly (moth ) from the family of moth ( Sphingidae ).

Features

The moths have a wingspan of 34-43 millimeters and are slightly larger than the similar style Rethera brandti. They also have like this type on the front wings a brighter outer and inner edge and a distinctive bright fascia that extends centrally across the wings. Rethera amseli differs from Rethera brandti evidenced by the morphology of their genitalia.

Occurrence and life

About the habitat has no information. The type flies in one generation to mid-April. Is about the further life, as well as on the preimaginal stages and parasitoids, nothing is known.
