An Horse

An Horse is an existing since 2007 indie rock duo from Brisbane, Australia.

History

Kate Cooper and Damon Cox met each other while working at a record store called Skinny's know. In 2007 they started making music together after they install a PA in a record store, where they rehearsed after work. The origin of the band name came from a grammar dispute between Kate Cooper and her neighbors on the use of "an" before a word with H. He made her a sweater that says " An Horse ", since he insisted that it was right. The correct wording is of course "a horse". 2008 published An Horse their first EP Not Really Scared. In the same year the duo toured together with Tegan and Sara through North America and in August with Death Cab For Cutie by Australia. On 19 March 2010, the debut album Rearrange Beds was published by Hamburg indie label Grand Hotel van Cleef. In recent months we toured together with Simon Den Hartog, lead singer of the Kilian, first by Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On April 29, published in 2011 An Horse 's second album Walls. First the single Dressed Sharply was coupled on April 22, 2011. Ahead of Publications An Horse played a tour in the summer also followed appearances at the festivals Southside and Hurricane. Together with Tim Neuhaus a split EP was released on October 14, 2011, which the new single Not mine and home to the Songlines. The end of October were both artists together on tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
