The Anaco Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional de Anaco ) is an airfield in the Venezuelan city of Anaco. The airport is used mainly by small aircraft, the employees of the oil industry fly to the oil or gas fields in the east of the country.

History

On August 22, 2007, a private plane, Cessna crashed Features: YV1562, when landing shortly before its airfield. This accident involved two crew members were killed. As the airfield is located in the residential area of the city surrounded, was due to this and already of previous incidents by the then Mayor of Anaco, Jacinto Romero Luna, operated the closure of the airfield.
