Anandyn Amar

Anandyn Amar (Mongolian Анандын Амар; Agdanbuugiyn also Amar, * 1886 Sum Changal; † ca July 27, 1941 in Moscow? ) Was a Mongolian politician of the Communist era.

Amar was dated 21 February 1928 to the April 27, 1930 and March 22, 1936 to March 7, 1939 to the Mongolian Prime Minister; in between he was on 2 July 1934 to the March 22, 1936 President of Mongolia.

His second term as Prime Minister, he had to quit because he was accused at the party on March 7, 1939 by Chorloogiin Choibalsan to pursue counter- revolutionary activities. Amar has been violated at the same time from the party. In July of the same year he was handed over in Chita in Siberia of the Soviet Union. Two years later, on July 10, 1941 he was sentenced to death by the highest Soviet court for spying for the Japanese; the exact time and place of his execution are unknown.

On January 25, 1962 Amar, after the Stalinist purges had been verified, rehabilitated and restored his membership in the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party posthumously.
