Anders Daun

Per Anders Daun ( born April 20, 1963 in Borås ) is a former Swedish ski jumper. After his career as a ski jumper, he has worked as a ski official and ski coach.

Down played with the Four Hills Tournament 1979/80 his first international tournament. However, it did increase only in Garmisch- Partenkirchen in the tournament. With results about the 100th place he remained unsuccessful. Also the tours in 1980/81 and 1981/82 were similar.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1982 in Oslo, he reached 10th place on the normal hill for the first time a top result. In the following World Cup competitions and the competition on the large hill he could jump into the top ten respectively. Also in Štrbské Pleso and Planica he held at this performance and finished the season at the end on the 29th place in the overall World Cup standings. It was the most successful season of his career. In 1984 he became Swedish Champion of the normal hill.

However, in the Nordic World Ski Championships 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol, he could only reach a 56th place on the normal and a 54th place on the large hill. In the following World Cup competitions, he was unsuccessful. In 1987, he reached only the 59th place at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf.

At the Olympic Winter Games 1988, he was in spite of decreasing power curve in the squad of Sweden. He reached on the normal hill and 27th in the large hill the 21th Place. In the team competition, he reached the 7th place together with Per-Inge Tällberg Jan Boklöv and Staffan Tällberg.

After his playing career down is active as a ski official. So he was at the Swedish Championship 2008 in Örnsköldsvik Renndirektor.Seit the season 2011/2012 he is assistant coach of the Swedish ski jumper.
