András Benk

András Benk (Hungarian Andras Benk; born September 3, 1987 in Budapest) is a Hungarian ice hockey player who is since 2007 in Alba Volán Székesfehérvár in the Austrian Hockey League contract.

Career

András Benk began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák, for the first team, he made his debut in the Hungarian Ice Hockey League in the season 2005/ 06. Then he moved to the junior level of the Swedish second division Huddinge IK, stood for the U20 Junior attacker in the 2006/07 season on the ice. After only one year abroad the links Sagittarius returned in the summer of 2007 returned to his Hungarian homeland, where he received a contract with Alba Volán Székesfehérvár. He has been running parallel to the Austrian Hockey League, as well as the Hungarian Hockey League. With Alba Volánbusz it was 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Hungarian Champion.

Internationally

For Hungary Benk took at junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships Division II in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and the U20 World Junior Championships Division II in 2005 and 2007 and the U20 Junior World Championship Division I 2006 part.

In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships Division I 2008 and 2011, the World Championship of Division IA in 2012 and the World Cup 2009.
