André Lysenstøen

André Lysenstøen ( born October 27, 1988 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ice hockey goaltender, who was last to 2010 HeKi Heinola in the Finnish Mestis under contract.

Career

Lysenstøen began his career in the youth teams of Manglerud Star Ishockey from his birthplace. In 2004, he worked for three years at the Lillehammer IK, where he was active until 2006 in the men's team at the Under-19 juniors and in the season 2006 /07. In summer 2007, he left Lillehammer and was engaged by the Stavanger Oilers.

In the summer of 2009, his contract ran out and Lysenstøen opted for a commitment in Finland HeKi Heinola in the subprime Mestis. For the team, he played in the season 2009/10 a total of 17 games. Then, his contract was not renewed and he has since vertragslos.

Internationally

André Lysenstøen played in several international tournaments for Norway. He took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2006 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2007 and 2008 at the junior level. In 2008 he was also nominated for the Men's World Championship, where he played his first World Cup game that was lost with 1:5 against Slovakia.

A year later he again took part in the World Championship for Men and has been used in three games, all of which ended in defeats. Both in the 2010 World Cup, as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he stood, each in a game between the posts.
