Andrew Wilson (politician)

Andrew Wilson (born 1970 in Lanark ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party ( SNP).

In the Scottish Parliament elections in 1999 Neil ran as candidate of the SNP in the constituency of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, but lost Cathie Craigie of the Labour Party clearly. On the basis of the election results, he moved as an emissary of the election Region Central Scotland one on the regional list in the newly created Scottish Parliament. Between May 1999 and June 2001, Wilson Shadow Minister for Finance, later of Economy and Transport. In the following 2003 parliamentary elections Wilson ran again for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, but received 500 votes less than Cathie Craigie. Since Wilson was down set to the regional list from second place in 1999 to fifth place, he missed the re- entry into parliament.
