Ane Stangeland Horpestad ( born June 2, 1980 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian football player. The central defender, who can also be used as a defensive midfielder, plays since her youth Klepp IL in Rogaland. In 2006 she gave a one-year stint at the top club Kolbotn IL, with which they won the championship and international matches in the UEFA Women 's Cup fought out.

After good performances in the Toppserien the 166 cm wide player was appointed on 12 May 1999 during a game against Italy Away for the first time in the Norwegian national team.
