Anelia Nuneva

Anelija Nunewa (married Wetschernikowa, Bulgarian Анелия Нунева; born 30 June 1962, Russian) is a former Bulgarian athlete who was successful as a sprinter in the 1980s and the early 1990s.

Although the 1.67 m wide and 57 kg Nunewa won numerous medals in major events, it never managed to win a title at a major international championship. Often they took second place.

The European Athletics Championships 1982 in Athens Nunewa was fourth in the 100 -meter run and sixth in the 200 -meter run.
