Ángel Vicioso

Ángel Vicioso Arcos ( born April 13, 1977 in Calatayud ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Vicioso was 1999 Kelme -Costa Blanca professional, where he established himself as a very good sprinter. Already in his second year, he won a sprint for the stage win at the Giro d' Italia, but was distanced because is illegally behavior. In his four years at Kelme Vicioso also won one-day races, including the Klasika Primavera and twice the Gran Premio Miguel Indurain. He switched to ONCE - Eroski and proved to be a good time trialist and also came across good hill. Stage wins at the Tour of the Basque Country and the Tour of Catalonia he added his victories list. In 2004, the team renamed itself Liberty Seguros and he won two stages in the Euskal Bizikleta.

Vicioso is mentioned in connection with the doping scandal Fuentes. His name is on a decrypted by the Spanish judicial list of members of the doping network. In 2007 he drove for the Spanish team Relax- GAM Fuenlabrada, where other blood doping accused drivers are hired. This year he won the third stage of the Basque Country Tour.

After the dissolution of Relax - GAM he drove in 2008 for the Portuguese Continental team LA -MSS and won, among others, two stages and the overall classification of the Tour of Asturias. In the years 2009 and 2010 he was at the Spanish Professional Continental team Andalucía - Cajasur under contract, he could celebrate each in these years as a stage victory in the Tour of Asturias. Since the beginning of the 2011 season he drove for the Italian team Androni Giocattoli - CIPI, for which he won the 2011 victory on the third stage of the Giro d' Italia.

For the 2012 season he was taken from the Russian ProTeam Katusha under contract.
