Ãnir
ANIR [ ɔanɪɹ ], also Ánirnar [ ɔanɪɹnaɹ ] (Danish: AERNE ) is a place of the Faroe Islands in the North Island Borðoy.

The Faroese word is ANIR a rare variant of Vanir and means " forecasts, prospects, hopes ".
ANIR lies north of the North Island metropolis Klaksvík on the west coast of Borðoy and was founded in 1840 as a result of population growth of new land had to be developed. Opposite the village is the southern tip of the island Kunoy.
ANIR has a modern harbor, which extends the Klaksvíker harbor. In addition to freight transport and fisheries, he also serves as the overseas ferry Norröna as an alternate port. Since 3 October 2007, he called Norðhavnin ( " the North Harbour ").
