Anna Müller-Lincke

Anna Müller- Lincke ( born April 8, 1869 in Berlin, † January 24, 1935 ibid; native forest Anna Müller) was a German soubrette and stage and film actress.

Life

Anna Müller- Lincke is said to have played with four years of a child's role on the stage. Before she moved to the silent movie, she was a known soubrette and stage actress. Among other things, she played in the Ostend- Theater in Berlin in the Great Frankfurter Straße. There she met in 1885 know the former bassoonist and later operetta writer Paul Lincke and married in 1893. Moreover, they played at the Victoria Theatre, the Belle- Alliance Theatre, Central Theatre, Adolf -Ernst- theater and seven years at the prestigious Metropolitan Theatre and Lessingtheater. Performances have taken her to France, Holland, Denmark, Russia, and North and South America.

Since 1910, she also appeared in silent films and was there in comedies, including next to the later director Ernst Lubitsch, successfully succeed. As a former singer gave her no difficulties, the beginning of the sound film. She starred in such notable productions as The real McCoy, rag ball and Hitler Youth Quex.
