Anthony Farquhar

Anthony J. Farquhar ( born September 6, 1940 in Belfast) is Auxiliary Bishop of Down and Connor.

Life

Anthony J. Farquhar received on 13 March 1965, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on April 6, 1983, Auxiliary Bishop of Down and Connor and Titular Bishop of Hermiana. The Bishop of Down and Connor, Cahal Brendan Daly, consecrated him on 15 May of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were William J. Philbin, Former Bishop of Down and Connor, and Gaetano Alibrandi, Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland.
