Roman Catholic Diocese of Down and Connor

The Diocese of Down and Connor ( ir: Deoise to Dúin agus Choinnire, Latin: Dioecesis Dunensis et Connorensis ) is a seaside resort in northern Ireland Roman Catholic diocese based in Belfast.

History

The Diocese of Down and Connor was built in the 6th century as the Diocese of Down. Since 1152 it is the Archdiocese of Armagh is a suffragan. In 1441 it was united to the diocese of Connor.
