The Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin ( ir: Deoise Chill Dara agus Leithghlinne, Latin: Dioecesis Kildariensis vel Darensis et Leighliensis ) is a location in Ireland Roman Catholic diocese based in Carlow.

History

The Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin was built in 519 by Pope Hormisdas as Diocese Kildare. In 1152 the diocese was the Kildare Dublin Archdiocese is a suffragan. The Diocese of Kildare 1678, the diocese Leighlin affiliated.
