Roman Catholic Diocese of Kilmore

The Diocese of Kilmore ( ir: Deoise na Cille Moire, Latin: Dioecesis Kilmorensis ) is a location in Ireland Roman Catholic diocese based in Cavan. Its territory is largely consistent with the historical Kingdom of Breifne.

History

The Diocese of Kilmore was built in the 5th century. In 1152 the diocese of Kilmore was the archbishopric Armagh is a suffragan.
