Noel Treanor

Noel Treanor ( Noël Treanor ) ( born December 25, 1950 in Silverstream, County Monaghan ) is a Roman Catholic bishop in Ireland.

Life

After his schooling at St. Brigid's National School in Drumcong, County Leitrim, Treanor studied Catholic theology in Maynooth. Treanor was ordained in Ireland on 13 June 1976 for the priest. On 22 February 2008 Treanor was appointed as the successor of Patrick Walsh as Bishop of Down and Connor.
