Francis Duffy (bishop)

Francis Duffy (born 21 April 1958 Bawnboy, County Cavan, Ireland) is a bishop of Ardagh.

Life

Francis Duffy received on 20 June 1982, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On July 17, 2013, Pope Francis appointed Bishop of Ardagh. The Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, Archbishop Charles John Brown, donated to it on 6 October of the same year, the episcopal ordination. Co-consecrators were his predecessors in Ardagh, retired Bishop Colm O'Reilly, Bishop of Kilmore and Philip Leo O'Reilly.
