Anthony Geary

Anthony Geary (* May 29, 1947 in Coalville, Utah, United States) is an American actor.

Career

Already as a student in Utah, he called attention to his talent. Jack Albertson discovered the young man and gave him his first role. Geary finally went to the Huntington Hartford Theater in Los Angeles, where he played in over 50 stage productions. He also played alongside Lynn Redgrave and Timothy Dalton Octavius ​​Caesar in a production of Shakespeare's " Anthony and Cleopatra ". He has also appeared as a guest star in over 40 television series.

The best known of the actors, however, was his role in the U.S. soap opera General Hospital, where he represents the Luke Spencer since 1978. For this role he won in 1982, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2006 Daytime Emmy Award. 1980 and 1981 he won the Soap Opera Digest Award.
