Anthony Hemingway

Anthony Hemingway ( born 1977 ) is an American film director. He works for the series but also for movies. He has in episodes of the television series The Wire and CSI: NY Directed out. Before Hemingway began as a director, he worked as an assistant director for film and television. Hemingway is the director of Red Tails from the year of 2012.

Life and work

He is a master director of CSI: NY.

In The Wire, he was assistant director for the first, for the second, and for the third season there. He returned in 2006 as director for the episode " What you do not want done to yourself ... " back. Show runner David Simon said that Hemingway's directorial debut proved what they already all knew " it was time ". Anthony Hemingway's experience meant that he has directed many other series.

He often works with people with whom he had worked previously. Hemingway began his work in the industry to Tom Fontana's Oz - hell behind bars as an assistant director. Later he worked with Fontana to The Jury. Anthony was the first assistant director for the film The face of truth, fromthe Wire -author Richard Price was written, where he worked with such stars as Samuel L. Jackson and Julianne Moore. With Jackson Hemingway worked prepared in 2002 for the film changing lanes. Anthony worked often with Joe Chappelle together (eg in The Wire, CSI: NY and the film Takedown ).
