Anthony Šerić

Anthony Šerić [ ʃɛ ː ritɕ ] ( born January 15, 1979 in Sydney, Australia) is a Croatian football player.

Career

Association

Born in Australia Šerić received a grant from the Australian Institute of Sport. His professional career began in 1996 when the Croatian football club Hajduk Split where he remained until 1999.

The usable on the entire left side of the field players changed in connection to Italy in the Serie A where he played from 1999 to 2005, for Hellas Verona, Brescia, Parma and Lazio. Overall, he came up with 111 inserts in Serie A, scoring two goals.

In the summer of 2005, Anthony Šerić moved to Greece to Panathinaikos Athens.

After half a year at Besiktas Istanbul in January 2009, he returned to Hajduk Split back. After only one year, he moved back to Turkey and joined Kardemir Karabükspor.

National

Anthony Šerić belonged to the levy of the Croatian national football team at the World Championships in 1998, 2002 and 2006, but was never used. With the Croatian national youth team, he played at the 1999 U20 World Cup in Nigeria. In the national team he was used a total of 16 times since its debut in May 1998 against Slovakia.
