Anton Coșa

Anton Cosa ( born November 23, 1961 in Faraoani ) is Bishop of Chişinău (Moldova).

Life

The Apostolic Administrator of Bucharest, Ioan Robu, ordained him a priest on 25 June 1989.

John Paul II appointed him on 28 October 1993 in the Apostolic Administrator of Moldova and on 30 October 1999 on the Titular Bishop of pesto. The Pope personally consecrated him on January 6 next year in St. Peter as Bishop; Co-consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re, substitute of the Secretariat of State, and Marcello Zago OMI ​​, Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. As a motto he chose Omnia in Christo.

With the elevation to the bishopric on 27 October 2001, he was appointed Bishop of Chişinău.
