Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bucharest

The Archdiocese of Bucharest (Latin: Archidioecesis Bucarestiensis ) is an Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Romania.

History

It arose from the Apostolic Vicariate of Wallachia, the Pope Leo XIII. on April 27, 1883, the archbishopric. On June 5, 1930, the Archbishop of Bucharest, levied as a result of the signing of the Concordat between the Romanian government and the Holy See, the Primate of Romania.
