Cornel Damian

Cornel Damian ( born May 8, 1960 in Jibou, back in the Regiunea Cluj) is a Romanian auxiliary bishop in Bucharest.

Life

Cornel Damian received on June 22, 1986 in Bucharest the priesthood. From 1987 to 1998 he was Professor of Moral Theology in Bucharest.

He was appointed Titular Bishop of Iziriana 2003 by Pope John Paul II and appointed auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Bucharest. The episcopal ordination on 8 December 2003 Archbishop Ioan Robu donated him ( principal consecrator ) and Archbishop Jean -Claude Périsset and Bishop Petru Gherghel.
