Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz

Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz OFM Cap (born Antoni Dydycz; born August 24, 1938 in Serpelice ) is a Polish religious clergyman and Bishop Emeritus of Drohiczyn.

Life

Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and the Bishop of Łomża, Czeslaw Falkowski, ordained him a priest on 27 March 1955.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 20 June 1994 as Bishop of Drohiczyn. The Apostolic Nuncio to Poland, Józef Kowalczyk, donated to him on 10 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Stanislaw Szymecki, Archbishop of Bialystok, and Francesco Gioia, OFM Cap, Archbishop of Camerino - San Severino Marche. As a motto he chose Populus Tuus - Hereditas Tua.

Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz is Großofffizer of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem.

Pope Francis took on March 29, 2014, his age-related withdrawal.
