Antonin, Ostrów Wielkopolski County

Antonin [ antɔɲin ] ( German Antonshof 1939-43 ) is a village with 484 inhabitants ( 2003) in the municipality Przygodzice, County Ostrowski in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

A Foundation of Prince Anton Radziwill from about 1815, was named after him Antonin until 1945 in the possession of his descendants.

Hunting Lodge

Hunting palace of the Radziwill, in the years 1822 to 1824, built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, very original central building with a huge, three -story fireplace in the middle. The castle contains a Chopin Memorial Room ( Chopin stayed here in 1829 ) and is managed by the Regional Museum in Kalisz.

Mausoleum

Radziwill 's Mausoleum, built in neo-Romanesque style from 1835 to 1838 according to plans by Johann Heinrich Haeberlins, expanded in 1894, it contains, among other things the grave of princess Elisa Radziwill and her bust.
