Antonio Campi
Antonio Campi (c. 1523 in Cremona, † 1587 ) was an Italian painter.
He was the son of Galeazzo Campi. Many members of his family were painters: Vincenzo Campi was his brother; Giulio Campi, however, considered to be his half-brother. With Bernardino Campi he was distantly related.
Antonio was a skilful imitator of Correggio. He joined Mannerist elements with the Lombard style, and had a habit of introducing distortions even in sacred objects. He was a ( more often launched ) chronicle of his native city, under the title " Cremona fidelissima città illustrata etc. " out.
