Antonov An-3

The Antonov An -3 is a multi-purpose biplane aircraft of Soviet origin and based on the Antonov An -2. In contrast to this it is TWD 10 - B equipped with a 705 kW ( 960 hp) payable Turboprop type Gluschenko. Later machines were equipped with the TWD -20 and as at 3T ( transport option for up to twelve people or 1800 kg of cargo ) or on - 3SCh ( " Selsko - Chosjaistwenni " = rural ) respectively. The plans for the proposed new standard agricultural aircraft began in 1972. Specifically, however, the project was not until 1979. The first flight took place on 13 May 1980. The conversion of An-2 to An- 3 runs in Kharkov since 1986. On 13 December 1985, the test pilot SA Gorbik flown to three world records in the Class C- 1e. He carried 1000 kg and 2000 kg payload to 6,200 m and 2375 kg at 2,000 m altitude.
