Antti Everi

Antti Everi ( born December 22, 1981 in Huittinen ) is a Finnish weightlifting in the super heavyweight division.

Antti Everi grew up in Pori, inspired by Kaarlo Kangasniemi and Jouni Grönman where he started weight lifting. He studied at the Technical University of Tampere and is now working as an IT expert in Helsinki.

He is active in the club Tampere Pyrintö and the most successful Finnish weightlifter in recent years. His personal best is 375 kg (174 kg/204 lbs). In 2008 he was nominated for participation in the Olympic Summer Games in Beijing.

His five years younger sister Anna -Maria also operates the weightlifting as a competitive sport; sıw urde at the Euro 2012 Sixth in the 63- kg class.

• 2007: 9th place at the European Championships in Strasbourg, with 371 kg (168 kg 203 kg )
• 2007: 17th place at the World Cup
• 2008: 11th place at the European Championships in Lignano, 375 kg (174 kg/201 lbs)
• 2008: 11th place at the OS in Beijing, with 366 kg ( 171 kg 195 kg )
• 2009: 8th place at the European Championship with 358 kg (160 kg 198 kg )
