Anup Sridhar

Anup Sridhar ( Kannada: ಅನೂಪ್ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್; born April 11, 1983 in Bangalore, Karnataka ) is an Indian Badminton player.

Life

In 1994 he makes first attention, as he stood at the Indian Krishna Khaitan tournament of the U13 in Chennai in the final. While he lost the final in 1994, he went on to win this tournament one year. In 1998, he won at this tournament, now in the U16 starting again. In the same year he also won the Kwality Biscuits tournament of the U16, Bangalore. In 2004 and 2005 he won the national championships in India, in the latter year, the Hungarian International. In 2006 he won again the Indian title, while he could not defend him in 2007. In August 2007, he attended at the Badminton World Championship furore when he ausschaltete one of the top favorites, Taufik Hidayat in the second round. In the Asia Cup in the same year, he still ended up in 3rd place behind Hidayat
