Apastepeque

Apastepeque is approximately 6 kilometers east of the town of San Vicente, El Salvador, a municipality in the department of San Vicente. The city itself has around 10 000 inhabitants; include a total of 19 895 inhabitants for the department.

The city is especially for fiestas and cultural events known as the Fiesta de los Moros in January, Santa Rita's Festival in May, celebrations in honor of Santiago in July and the annual Christmas Carnival in December.
