Apolonia Fier

Klubi Futbollit Apolonia Fier is an Albanian football club from the Central Albanian city of Fier. The club currently plays in the second highest Albanian League, the Kategoria e Pare.

History

The club was founded in 1925 under the name of KS Apollonia. The name originated as a reminder of the nearby ancient Greek city of Apollonia. Twenty years later they competed in the Kampionati Shqiptar for the first time. Starting in 1950, the club was simply called yet Fier, a year later, he was however renamed in Puna Fier. In the 2012/13 season, it came as a Table again to descend.
