The Serbian Orthodox Church of Aradac
Aradac [ arad̪at͡s ] ( Serbian Cyrillic Арадац, Hungarian Aradi, Slovak:. Aradac, German Aradatz ) is a place in the Serbian Banat, about 6 km west of Zrenjanin and 50 km east of Novi Sad. Aradac is a typical lowland village located in the Pannonian plain.
History
The first time was Aradatz mentioned in 1723 in the Mersijev card. The first entries can be found in books of the pope from the years 1332-1337 under the name of ' Arad '.
Population
The census of 2003 showed 3,443 inhabitants. Of these, about 1,650 Serbs and 1,380 Slovaks, the rest is distributed to other ethnic groups ( Croats, Slovenes, Hungarians, Romanians, Macedonians, etc.)

Education
For basic education school " Bratsvo " Aradac is responsible. It is taught in Serbian and since 1954 also in Slovak. The school has 14 independent departments, a combined department form the two preschool groups.
Sports
The sports club " ASK " was founded in 1959 by the unification of the Serbian Association " Slavija " and the Slovak Association " Janošik ". The club has its own stadium with covered grandstand and changing rooms. In addition to the sports club has been around since 1984 yet the association for heavy athletics "Superman". Since 2000 there is the karate club " Aradac ".
Infrastructure
The village is served by a 91 m deep well with water.
