Arambilet

Arambilet (actually Angel Luis Alvarez Arambilet; born September 16, 1957 in Santo Domingo ) is a Dominican writer, screenwriter, painter, graphic artist and filmmaker.

Life

In Latin America and the Caribbean, he is considered the creator of the first story (Artes y Letras [ Art & Literature ], 1978) and the first graphical poems ( combination of text and graphics - Arte y Cibernetica [Art and Cybernetics ], 1978) with ASCII type, a combined technique, the hole cards, a COBOL compilation ( IBM model 370-115 ) and high-speed printers.

Arambilet is in the XX century History of Computer Graphics and Digital Art sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery SIGGRAPH.

He was a prize -winning for his short stories The cayenne petals (1994) and the novel Neguri 's Secret (2006).
