Araschgen

Araschgen is a fraction ( district ) of the Graubünden cantonal capital Chur with around 250 inhabitants.

Location

From the city proper area Araschgen is about two kilometers away and easily accessible via the South Chur bypass. Geographically Araschgen heard as extreme foothills to Churwaldnertal. The Rabiosa marked in the east, the border with Passugg, which separates it from Chur and Churwaldner territory.

Traffic

Canton is known throughout the Araschgerrank on the Chur -Lenzerheide, from which in the coming years talüberspannende connecting bridge (configured Name: St. Luzibrücke ) to be built for Schanfiggerstrasse. By Araschgen even the Tschiertscherstrasse via Praden to Tschiertschen.

Infrastructure

In Araschgen a kindergarten are located and built in a modern concrete style village church, which is used equally by the Protestants and the Catholics. Although the Fontana - educational institution for the deaf is located on the side of the Araschger Rabiosa, but belongs to the municipality Malix.
