Arba Minch ( Amharic: አርባ ምንጭ Arba Mənč, to German: Forty Springs ) is a town in southern Ethiopia. It was the capital of the former province Gemu - Gofa, today it is the Woreda Arba Minch Zuria in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region. This woreda was initially part of the Semien Omo Zone ( South Omo ), since their distribution it belongs to Gamo - Gofa zone.

Arba Minch consists of two districts which lie a few kilometers apart. In Arba Minch there is a technical university.

The city is situated on two lakes, the Lake Abaya to the north and Lake Chamo to the south. The lakes are separated by a ridge, which is called translated "God's Bridge ".
