Ariël Jacobs

Ariël Jacobs ( born July 25, 1953 in Vilvoorde ) is a former Belgian footballer and current coach. As a coach, he won the Belgian Cup in 2003 and 2008.

Life

Ariël Jacobs worked as a player mainly for smaller clubs. As a striker, he played for clubs Diegem Sport, Racing White, SK Hall and FC Diest. Jacobs began his career as a youth coach at the Belgian Football Association ( Koninklijke Belgische Voetbalbond ( KBVB ) ). From 1999 to 2001, Jacobs coach of Belgian club Racing White Daring Molenbeek, now known as FC Brussels. 2003 Jacobs managed with the R.A.A. La Louviere a place in the final of the Belgian Cup. There the enemy VV St. Truiden was defeated 3-1.

Jacobs left the club and thereafter became technical director of KRC Genk. Since the association did not reach the lofty goals, Jacobs was dismissed after a year. 2006 Jacobs Coach of KSC Lokeren Oost- Vlaanderen. In February 2007, Jacobs Excelsior Mouscron trained. In June 2007, he became assistant to Franky Vercauteren, the former coach of RSC Anderlecht. After the dismissal of Vercauteren Jacobs was from the 2008/2009 season head coach of the club. Jacobs was able to celebrate winning the Belgian Cup this season. In the season 2011/2012 Anderlecht was Jacobs, Belgian champion. On June 22, 2012 it became known that Jacobs, who did not want to renew his expiring contract at Anderlecht, new coach of FC Copenhagen. On August 21, 2013, was dismissed at the Danish club FC Copenhagen.
