Ariel Rittenhouse

Ariel Rittenhouse Cevans ( born December 9, 1990 in Santa Fe) is an American water jumper. It starts in the art of jumping from 1 m and 3 m- board and 3-meter synchronized diving. Trained it is of Wenbo Chen.

Rittenhouse trained first in a gymnastics club and began at the age of seven years with the water jump. She studied at the University of Southern California and starts for the sports team of the University, the USC Trojans.

She took in 2007 in Melbourne for the first time at the World Cup finals and was ranked the ten 3- m board. In the same year she won with Kelci Bryant at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro silver in the 3 -meter synchronized diving. Also at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she started with Kelci Bryant in 3 -meter synchronized diving, missed a medal in fourth but scarce. The duo also launched at the 2009 World Championships in Rome and won sixth place in the individual from the 3 -meter board Rittenhouse was fifth.

Her uncle Mike Finneran was also a successful diver, from the 3- m- board and from the 10 - m tower each reached the final at the 1972 Olympics. Her mother Sharon won, among other silver in the 400m Medley at the Olympic Games in 1964.
