Arkadiusz Piech

Arkadiusz Piech ( born June 7, 1985 in Swidnica ( Schweidnitz ), Poland ) is a Polish football player.

Club career

Arkadiusz Piech played in his youth for Polonia Świdnica. From 2003 to 2008, in the first team of Polonia Świdnica or Polonia / Sparta Świdnica. In 2008 he was loaned out to third division Gawin / Ślęza Wrocław and achieved nine goals in 18 league games. This aroused the interest of the then second division Widzew Łódź and he was loaned out again before he finally managed to break through in 2010 and moved to first division Ruch Chorzów. At the end of the 2011/12 season Piech was named player of the season. In January 2013, he decided not to renew his contract expiring in June 2013 at Ruch Chorzów.

Only five days later Piech moved to the second half of the season 2012/13 in the Turkish Süper Lig Sivasspor to. He signed until the end of June 2016.

National

In the Polish national team he debuted December 16, 2011 in a 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
